Christian faith provides a growth track into knowledge of the truth; but along the way, how do we guard against being deceived by lies masquerading as “well crafted arguments"? Consider, if your growth track is too narrow, you might become thick-headed and insular. No one can teach you a thing, and love, love disappears from your life. But if your track is too wide and every idea is an exciting new possibility, you will waste a lot of time just getting back on track and you run the risk of running into some dangerous detours...
