Purpose Statement: The Gospel according to Paul! Understand that the Gospel is a reconciling Gospel. It reconciles us to God. Look at vs. 18 “All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation:” How many times does the word reconciliation appear? Reconciliation assumes alienation and that people are enemies so the need for reconciliation. How? The essence of the understanding of the Gospel through reconciliation. What do I do as an ambassador? Tell sinners how to be reconciled to God. Are you interested? When we are reconciled, we are revived. What happened to Evans Roberts who began the Welch Revival? What four questions or principles impacted him? It’s an incredible outpouring of the Holy Spirit inside and outside the church.
