1. Faith believes BEFORE IT SEES.

● When you and I are walking by faith we are trafficking in the invisible.

forty days and forty nights, and I will wipe from the face of the earth every living
creature I have made.”
Genesis 2:4b-5 (NIV) When the LORD God made the earth and the heavens —
and no shrub of the field had yet appeared on the earth and no plant of the field
had yet sprung up, for the LORD God had not sent rain on the earth and there
was no man to work the ground,
Genesis 2:5b,6 (NIV) for the LORD God had not sent rain on the earth but
streams came up from the earth and watered the whole surface of the ground,
Genesis 6:17 (NIV) I am going to bring floodwaters on the earth to destroy all
life under the heavens, every creature that has the breath of life in it. Everything
on earth will perish.

day of the second month — on that day all the springs of the great deep
burst forth, and the floodgates of the heavens were opened.
2. Faith gets to WORK.
Hebrews 11:7 (NIV) By faith Noah, when warned about things not yet seen,
in holy fear built an ark to save his family.

● God is powerful enough to do anything and He’s personal enough to
do it for you.
Proverbs 1:7 (NIV) The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge;
Psalm 111:10 (NIV) The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom;
Proverbs 10:27 (NIV) The fear of the LORD adds length to life,
Proverbs 16:6 (NIV) through the fear of the LORD a man avoids evil

for the earth is filled with violence because of them. I’m surely going to destroy
both them and the earth.
14 So make yourself an ark of cypress wood and make rooms in it and coat it
with pitch inside and out.

Genesis 6:15 (NIV) This is how you are to build it: The ark is to be 450 feet long,
75 feet wide and 45 feet high.
● The way you really know if you believe something is by what you DO.

3. Faith looks DIFFERENT.
Hebrews 11:7 By faith Noah, when warned about things not yet seen, in holy
fear built an ark to save his family. By his faith he condemned the world and
became heir of the righteousness that comes by faith.
Genesis 6:5-7 (NIV) The LORD saw how great man's wickedness on the
earth had become, and that every inclination of the thoughts of his heart was
only evil all the time. The LORD was grieved that he had made man on the earth,
and his heart was filled with pain. So the LORD said, "I will wipe mankind, whom
I have created, from the face of the earth — men and animals, and creatures that
move along the ground, and birds of the air — for I am grieved that I have made
them."
Genesis 6:8, 9 (NLT) But Noah found favor with the LORD. Noah was a
righteous man, the only blameless person living on the earth at the time, and he
walked with God.
● You will never make a difference until you’re willing to BE
DIFFERENT!

2 Peter 2:5 (NLT) And God did not spare the ancient world—except for Noah

the beginning of creation.
