The Anointing

Going to touch on the anointing and how believers receive it later this week. Here is a hint...Its a gift that needs to be opened (it costs us time). Acts 10:44-45 NKJV [44] While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit fell upon all those who heard the word. [45] And those of the circumcision who believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out on the Gentiles also. I John 2:20-22 NKJV [20] But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you know all things. [21] I have not written to you because you do not know the truth, but because you know it, and that no lie is of the truth. [22] Who is a liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist who denies the Father and the Son. II Corinthians 5:16-17 NKJV [16] Therefore, from now on, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him thus no longer. [17] Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. A Jesus went through life on earth full of compassion, love, and did what the Father wanted. Yet He still faced hell. Why? Hell did not like Him. I John 2:27 NKJV [27] But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him. Psalms 45:7 NKJV [7] You love righteousness and hate wickedness; Therefore God, Your God, has anointed You With the oil of gladness more than Your companions. "Sometimes perfect love has a hard time in a fallen world." Sorrow, He Some people use their gifts not knowing God, those people might go to hell (lord, lord,lord). The flesh wants to go this way, but Jesus is the way. Hebrews 5:8-9 NKJV [8] though He was a Son, yet He learned obedience by the things which He suffered. [9] And having been perfected, He became the author of eternal salvation to all who obey Him, John 15:4 NKJV [4] Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. John 15:9-11 NKJV [9] “As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love. [10] If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love. [11] “These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full. Romans 8:10-11 NKJV [10] And if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. [11] But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.
