Ephesians 2:10, For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.

Big Idea: You are God’s masterpiece…

Comparing yourself to other masterpieces will steal your joy.

1. The servant

1st Corinthians 4:1,

This is how one should regard us, as servants of Christ and stewards of the

mysteries of God.

Acts 20:18-19, You yourselves know how I lived among you the whole time from the first day that I set foot in Asia, serving the Lord with all humility and with tears and with trials that happened to me through the plots of the Jews;

2. The steward

1st Corinthians 4:2, Moreover, it is required of stewards that they be found faithful.

Matthew 24:45, Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom his master has set over his household, to give them their food at the proper time?

3. The Judge

1st Corinthians 4:3-4, But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged by you or by any human court. In fact, I do not even judge myself. For I am not aware of anything against myself, but I am not thereby acquitted. It is the Lord who judges me.

2nd Timothy 2:15, Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth.

1st Corinthians 4:5, Therefore do not pronounce judgment before the time, before the Lord comes,who will bring to light the things now hidden in darkness and will disclose the purposes of the heart. Then each one will receive his commendation from God.

1st Corinthians 10:31, …whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.
