Matthew 14:27-32 But Jesus spoke up at once: “Take courage! It is I. Do not be afraid.” “Lord, if it is You,” Peter replied, “command me to come to You on the water.” “Come,” said Jesus. Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water, and came toward Jesus. But when he saw the strength of the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, “Lord, save me!” Immediately Jesus reached out His hand and took hold of Peter. “You of little faith,” He said, “why did you doubt?” And when they had climbed back into the boat, the wind died down. Then those who were in the boat worshiped Him, saying, “Truly You are the Son of God!” Joy Comes Psalm 30:4-5 Sing to the LORD, O you His saints, and praise His holy name. For His anger is fleeting, but His favor lasts a lifetime. Weeping may stay the night, but joy comes in the morning. Good Medicine Proverbs 17:22 A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones. NIV James 5:13 Is any one of you suffering? He should pray. Is anyone cheerful? He should sing praises. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 Rejoice at all times. / Pray without ceasing. / Give thanks in every circumstance, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. Psalm 51:8-12 Let me hear joy and gladness; let the bones You have crushed rejoice. / Hide Your face from my sins and blot out all my iniquities. / Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me. ... Romans 15:13 Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you believe in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Philippians 4:4-7 Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! / Let your gentleness be apparent to all. The Lord is near. / Be anxious for nothing, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. YOUTUBE: https://youtu.be/NaFdtIc_RvI
